Summer Grilling Tips
Summer is just around the corner. Before long we will be grilling out nightly. Barbeque ribs, smoked brisket, juicy steaks right off of the grill! Bring on the backyard picnics, family reunion picnics and tailgate parties. Colorado Premium has all of the beef products you need to make any outdoor cooking event perfection. We also want you to be food safe this summer. Make sure to store all of your raw meats in sealed containers when traveling to the party. Use cold packs to pack coolers of raw meat instead of ice to minimize the mess and the opportunity for contaminated ice to be used for drinks! Keep meat covered before, during and after cooking. Take a meat thermometer along with you and don't leave food out any longer than necessary before and after it is cooked. Check out the websites below for more great safe summer cooking tips from the USDA.
Have a wonderful summer season. Eat great, and be safe!
